Another Bit Torrent Search Engine-Isohunt.com

UPDATED: Read more about Isohunt in my Isohunt profile.

Thanks to the anonymous reader who gave me the tip about Isohunt.com, a search engine that basically searches any kind of peer to peer, or P2P, file. This is kind of a self-serve engine, meaning, you need to read the forum newbie tips before you really start using it to its fullest potential.

You'll soon notice as you start using this site that there are a lot of really popular shows and movies on here. And you might say to yourself, "am I doing something illegal by downloading these?" That's a good question. However, Isohunt.com does not host this material-they merely help you find it, and that's a big difference. Boing Boing provides some information on Isohunt's ongoing legal battles with the MPAA, and I highly suggest you read it. Basically, the Motion Picture Association of America is attempting to bully the owner of this service into taking it down, because they believe that by using Isohunt.com, their copyrights are being infringed upon. What do you think of this issue?
