Sunday July 3, 2005
According to SearchViews, most people do their online shopping between the hours of 1 PM and 6 PM, with shopping generally getting a bit of a slowdown at the lunch hour.
"Online marketers might be interested to know that from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. is the most popular daypart for online shoppers who've made 12 or more purchases during the past year. This is according to data released by The Media Audit, a research firm specializing in audience surveys.

"Online shoppers generally get started at 8 a.m. and keep shopping until 10 p.m. with just a slight slowdown around the lunch hour," said Bob Jordan, president of International Demographics, Inc."
