This from Ynot.com:
"T-Mobile has announced it will use Google’s web search engine as the starting point for surfing the net on its mobile phones. T-Mobile, Deutsche Telekom's mobile arm, is Europe’s second-largest provider and has been preparing to make the move to provide full internet access on its phones. The partnership with Google is expected to give them a substantial edge.

"With the Google home page, we want tell our customers from the first moment that they are carrying with them the internet they know from home," said T-Mobile board member Ulli Gritzuhn at a news conference in T-Mobile's Bonn, Germany, headquarters.

I have, well, I think I have, my phone web-enabled, but every time I try to log-on I end up doing something that A.causes my phone to turn off B. completely freezes my phone C. or go so slow that I can hear the gleeful meter ticking and clapping its hands in joy. So I'm not a big fan of the whole mobile Internet thing, at least on cell phones. But it's probably more of a case that I just haven't figured out how to work it right. The most mobile I want to get with the Web is on my laptop.
