MSN Search Gets Its Game On

"MSN Search has added a number of new features, including the ability to search blogs as part of an upgrade that includes the addition of new ranking system, dubbed 'Neural Net'."

Some of the new features I appreciate are:

• link: and domain search. Search for pages that link to a single page, i.e., link.websearch.about.com, or see pages that link into the page you're looking at, i.e., linkdomain:websearch.about.com.
• contains:search. This one allows you to search for pages where there’s a hyperlink to a file with a particular extension, i.e., contains:.pdf.
• contains:for blogs and RSS. Allows you to search for blogs with RSS feeds enabled, and you can even search for a particular subject. For example, I've got the beach on my mind:

  cannon beach contains:(rss xml rdf atom)
