Time.com's 50 Coolest Websites for 2005

Time.com has put out their list of the 50 Coolest Websites 2005, and it makes for some interesting reading. Here are a few of my favorites:
- The Museum of Online Museums. You could easily spend an entire week on this site. Includes the Musee d'Orsay, the WPA Poster Project, and the Van Gogh and Gauguin Gallery.
- McSweeney's Internet Tendency. I've read this site for a long time, ever since I read the site founder Dave Eggers' book A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, a book that made me instantly want to go out and find everything that this man had ever written.
- Go Fug Yourself is a blog that I read literally every day and have been for quite a while. It is spit-your-coffee-out, embarassing-nose-snort funny. Celebrities, fashion faux pas, and snarkiness. A match made in heaven. Go Fug Girls!
- Craigslist.com. Again, another one I'm reading all the time (sheesh, sounds like I never get off the computer...which would actually be true.). Last summer I picked up over 100 brand new quart canning jars with lids for $10 off of Craigslist. The fact that I never actually put anything IN these canning jars is beside the point. Plus, the discussions forums are some of the liveliest on the Web.
