(4) shaheen says:

The link to download the internet on this site shows a picture saying 14 kb transferred to C drive and then another message pops up saying C drive is full, need a floppy, now, who has a C drive with 14kb capacity and wants to download the whole internet on a tooooo slow connection speed. Either the person is retarded or he was trying to compress the internet data to 14 kb. That would be genius.

(9) I Wrestle Polar Bears says:

I got the entire internet saved to my flash drive. I take it everywhere I go so I don’t need to be connected ever again except for however any kind of updates, chats, emails, anything new, posting on a forum, receiving a reply from a forum, getting the weekly weather, online games, etc. Plus you get the really cool feature of having downloaded every virus ever created till that point in time :D Pretty much the only thing downloading the entire internet would be for is researching existing documents, watching existing porn, and a whole hell of a lot of viruses.

(10) Nick says:

Lemme just pull out my 1 zettabyte (1 trillion terabytes) ssd (solid state drive) and hook it up to my UFFO (ultra fat fiber optic) cable that is directly tied into my backbone router.

Then let me boot up my super special copy of linux on 1000 of my own computers and I’ll just run my super 1337 spidering macros in my own browser that i programmed myself to grab every single accessible bit of data on every single url in the world.

YAY……. 8[

(12) Alex says:

The question is the amount of data growing faster than the average download speed.

I suspect that it is – so the time to download entire contents of the Internet will increase as the decades pass.
