The problem with being someone who reports about the Web is that there are literally soooooo many sites that I could pick for Site(s) of the Day. Seriously, lots of cool stuff out there as you probably already know. It's hard to tear myself away from the computer sometimes!
Sites of the Day
- A Computer Geek's History of the Internet. As the blurb says, this "isn't the complete history, but just the cool stuff," which apparently covers quite a lot. Complete with links and recommended reading. Related:A Brief History of the Internet.
- Firefox Help, Tips, and Tricks. Lately I've been trying out Firefox, and I'm frankly wondering why I've ever used anything else. This page is a treasure trove of Firefox help.
- BBC Radio 3 Beethoven Experience. I'm a huge classical music fan, and the BBC consistently delivers the goods. Related: Test your classic tv/literature/classical music knowledge at the June Scavenger Hunt; just make sure to open a new window or tab so you don't have to go back and forth searching for answers.
