Blogs and Search Engine Optimization

The effects of blogs on your website statistics can be pretty incredible. Blog posts tend to be picked up pretty fast by search engine spiders, and links inside your blog to other parts of your site are great spider food. I've seen some of my blog posts from my various sites get picked up within one hour of posting; not a bad result and an excellent way for both search engine spiders and people with RSS feeds to see your site.
