Wednesday November 10, 2004
Meta tags are an integral part of search engine optimization. Search engine spiders use Meta tags as one of the ways they find and index your site, so they are definitely very important. Even you use an HTML editor to write your web pages, don't be intimidated into thinking that you will have to learn a whole bunch of HTML codes to use Meta tags properly; most WYSIWIG (what you see is what you get) editors have a very accessible Meta tag insertion tool.
